Scalder

Scalder

The Alberk Scalder is designed to prepare poultry carcasses for the defeathering process by applying controlled hot-water treatment following slaughtering and bleeding. As the carcasses travel suspended from shackles through the scalding system, they are exposed to predetermined temperature and processing time conditions, allowing the feather follicles to loosen and supporting more effective feather removal in the subsequent plucking process. The coil-assisted heating system uses energy supplied from an external steam source to maintain the process water at the required operating temperature. Blower-assisted water circulation promotes more uniform distribution of heat and process action throughout the scalding tank, helping ensure consistent treatment of the carcasses and stable scalding performance during continuous production. The system can be engineered according to processing line capacity and specific process requirements. Temperature control and pneumatic valves enable controlled management of operating parameters, supporting reliable and repeatable scalding conditions. By delivering consistently prepared carcasses to the poultry plucking machines, the Alberk Poultry Scalder contributes to efficient defeathering performance, continuous product flow, and reliable operation of the poultry processing line.
